Module firmware

The radio module in these phones runs its own firmware. SignalDeck has an optional loader for it, under Device. The factory image is kept as a backup, and several safety checks run before anything is written.

Advanced

You never need to change the module firmware to use SignalDeck.

Some features need the modified SignalDeck module firmware, such as M17 transmit. It is not available for every phone. Install images only from inside the app, which checks them first.

DMR006.U4A.V076

The module firmware file an Atom XL keeps on its vendor partition for the stock app's updater. It is an older build than the V082 the phone's module reports, so it is kept for research and is not offered as a restore image.
